You're going to be parents - congratulations! A new chapter is about to start and it comes with big changes.
Postnatal care
During the first eight weeks postpartum I will visit you at home and support you with expertise and empathy. I'll check the health of mom and baby, help you with breastfeeding and will always take care to answer all your questions.

Costs
The basic health insurance covers 100% of this service (up till 16 visits with first child / caesarean section / premature delivery / twins, otherwise 10 visits).

During the whole time of birth and postnatal period I am avaiable for you. For being on call, self-employed midwives are paid a cmpensation of CHF 135.- by the city of Zurich or CHF 115.- by the canton.
Pelvic floor
Lactation support
Wheter you'd like to have a prenatal counseling, discuss colostrum banking (e.g. in the case of gestational diabetes), breastfeeding difficulties, going back to work, weaning or introducing solids: I'll advise you with patience and experience.
Costs
The basic health insurance covers three lactation supports during the time of breastfeeding and weaning.
Note: If your situation requires it, I'll refer you to an IBCLC-specialist or a dentist for babys.
Pregnancy checks

As certified BeBo®-professional I care about your health. I'm currently planning to offer birth preparation and postnatal classes with a focus on the pelvic floor.
Further information will follow as soon as the suitable location has been found.
Acupuncture & Taping
In addition to the classic midwife care I am offering acupuncture and taping, to relieve discomfort during pregnancy and postpartum period (e.g. in case of water retention, back pain, lactation issues, etc.).
Acupuncture
As birth preparation from week 36+0. Moxa in case of baby in breech position from around week 32+0 to 34+0.
Costs & invoicing

Acupuncture: CHF 100.– per session (during postnatal visit inclusive).

Taping: CHF 75.– per session (during postnatal visit inclusive).
Note: These are private services. Please check with your additional health insurance if they will cover a part of the costs.
From autumn 2026 I am able to take care of you already during pregnancy. The basic health insurance covers seven checks and two ultrasound examinations by the obstetrician from the twelfth week of pregnancy. More checks are covered in case of risk pregnancy.
I'll check on your health, the baby's growth and will answer your questions – in the safe and comfortable surrounding of your home.
Birth preparation & classes
Birth preparation consultation
You don't want to book a classic birth preparation class but you do have some questions? I'm happy to meet you at your home for a personal chat (duration: 1 hour). Also possible with planned caesarean section.
Costs
CHF 150.–
(Covered by the basic health insurance, if no other birth preparation is done.)
Individual birth preparation class for couples
During approx. 2 – 3 hours we'll talk about the delivery. We'll chat about the different stages of delivery, how the partner can support, pain relief and the time after the delivery and I'll answer all your individual questions.​

CHF 150.– per hour.

The basic health insurance covers CHF 150.- per pregnancy for any birth preparation. Additional insurances sometimes participate in covering the remaining amount.

Group class: focus on pelvic floor
(planning stages)
As certified BeBo®-professional I will accompany you in small groups. Focus of the class will be tension and relaxation of the pelvic floor such as the right breathing technique to prepare for the birth and the recovering.

I love flowers and autumn, I'm adventurous, a passionate cook and baker, a cat mom and since 2020 I am a midwife BSc. I started working in obstetrics in 2013. I have worked in neanotology, maternity and labor ward in a gynecological-obstetric practice and as vocational trainer. Today I am supporting families as a self-employed midwife with great warmth, expertise and patience during this special time.

The birth of a child is a miracle. Not only is the baby born, but also the parents. This 180°-turn in life is fascinating and challenging at the same time. My goal is to support you holistically, individually and to respond to your wishes and needs. It makes me truly happy to not only see the baby grow, but also you in your role as parents.
